Throughout her junior career, Audrey Coulter has amassed many of the most coveted Junior accolades. She began riding soon after she could walk and by the time she was seven, she was already jumping and showing. She often competes alongside her older sister Saer who is active in the Grand Prix ring.
Coulter had a wildly successful 2010 campaign that included taking home many top placings across the country. She travelled to Lexington, KY and represented Zone 10 at the Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North. Riding Rodenburgh’s California, Coulter earned a Team Silver medal and was fifth individually in the Junior Championship.
In October of 2010, Coulter and Rodenburgh’s California were fourth in the Randolph College/USEF National Junior Jumper Individual Championship at the Harrisburg Prix de States. The following month, they topped the field in the High Junior Amateur Jumper division at the Syracuse National Horse Show. Also at Syracuse, Coulter was second with October in the Medium Junior Amateur Jumpers.
Coulter qualified to represent the U.S. at the European Youngster Cup Finals after strong performances at HITS Thermal in California at the beginning of the 2011 season. At Leipzig, Coulter and Rodenburgh’s California won the CSI 2* European Youngster Cup Table A no jump-off. Coulter rode Julia Des Brumes to a second place in the CSI 2* Small Tour no jump-off in Balve. At La Coruna, Coulter piloted Cento S CH to a fourth place finish in the CSI 4* Progressive.
Upon returning stateside, Coulter rode Victory DA to a fifth place finish in the $250,000 FTI GP & FEI World Cup Qualifier.
Coulter returned to Europe during the summer of 2012, taking two fifth and an eighth in classes at the CSI2* Geesteren event in the Netherlands. She then traveled to France where she competed in the CSI2* Chantilly event. The show proved to be successful, as she won two CSI2* Table A classes on two different horses and was pinned sixth in another.
When not riding, Coulter enjoys volunteering and skiing both on the water and snow. She is currently attending Dartmouth College, and has a particular interest in the sciences.
